Decemberween [Dec. 29th, 2005|10:43 pm]
So i'm bored, so I'll guess I'll update the ol' LJ, haven't done so since before school. So I guess I'll do......
FALL '05 RECAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
CLASSSES:
Physics 42 is the worst class ever, half of class dropped out because they were failing, integral based electromagnitism sucks ass. Calc III went pretty well, Rogers was a good teacher, and a interesting character. Statics: WORST TEACHER EVER, the woman wasn't even factulty, she was a profesional engineer who was teaching the class. I swear, everyone in the class learned more from the textbook then from her dumbass lectures. Thermo: ROcked that class, got an A, oh yeah! The lecturer who was a grad student was really cool. I ended up withdrawing from MATH 161 because the class sucked ass and was pointless, oh well.
INTRAMURALS:
Football was alot of fun, we put together some decent teams, and played pretty well. We lost in the first round of the playoffs for mens and co-rec, both by 1 point after 2 point conversions. Soccer was fun, even though we didn't win a single game, and I lost count of home many times i got scored on, oh well, maybe next season I'll invest in some goalie gloves. Volleyball was alot of fun, we did pretty good for mens and co-rec. Broomball....... oh man, what a kick ass season. Second Shutout unbeated reg-season for co-rec (nicole is crazy in goal (hey, that rhymes)), and for mens we ended up 2-1. Big Jess came through with alot of goals for co-rec, she got one game winner in the playoffs in the last 5 seconds. For mens me and Brian got most of the goals, me and Brian almost had hat tricks, but then some how we'd get injured, Brain got 2 concusions through the season, and I got throughly taken out in a game. For the Playoffs both mens and Co-rec made it to the Semi-Finals for all campus, best Team Freeze playoffs yet for broomball.
Dorm Shenanagins:
So yes, despite some people's doubts, the ball pit was created: http://facebook.com/p.php?id=6910592&l=42778cd931 ah facebook, so many non-existant people created, including bumbles: http://facebook.com/p.php?id=6911287&l=8e18ec6b8d Bumbles had many adventures this year, not being limited to, being stolen, and then being held hostaged, and doubling in quantity. Speaking of Bumbles being held hosted, FYI, If you look up crazy ex-girlfriend in the dictionary, you'll see JB, I still have a nice scar on my chest from her. But onto happier stuff, the suite, It was PIMP, along with the ballpit we had dueling TV's. And why would one need 2 tv's you ask, well in this wonderful world, there are 2 sporting events on at once, say football and baseball, or 2 football games, and So as me tony and derek are such sports junkies, we need the duel tv'age. For more electronics we had 4 floor speakers and duel subs for surrond sound, and i think 5 mini fridges. My room it's self was a triple for almost all the time, seeing as to how my roommates girlfriend literaly lived there, she never went to her own room, she actually had a dresser in there. And she wasn't even nice about always being there, she would flip out on me when I did nothing, glad thats over. Both of them are taking next semister off, So i'm debating what to do with my single. I thinking either moving in a couch, making a beirut table, or making a bar.
~END FALL RECAP '05~

So what am I doing right now?
Well I'm back at NRG fulltime until the 13th (i move back in on the 15th). Work is being a bitch, I've being either throwing tube or boxing almost the entire time. The tube is a bitch, 10' x 9" tubes that weigh 90 pounds. So yeah, I'm a bit sore by the end of the day. When I'm not at work I'm pretty much just lounging around here at home in my room, either on the lappy, or playing the new PS2 on the new TV i got for X-mas (X-mas, did you just say X-mas????, Zombie! http://spacetree.com/fjxmas.swf). So yeah, if any of you locals get bored, give me a ring on the celly.

So yeah....... [Jul. 22nd, 2005|06:33 pm]
SUMMER UPDATE!
So I guess I should give yall an update to whats happening with my summer.
I'm work at NRG Systems ( http://www.nrgsystems.com ) Doing tower production. If theres something in towers, I can make it. It's a good work out, lifting 100+ lbs bases, and 10' 70lbs tube. But it's good pay 9.25 an hour plus overtime, and it's a good in with the company.
I haven't been doing much else with my summer besides work, been catching back up with Sandy now that New Zealand has returned her.
If any of yall wanna do anything this summer the weekends are the best time to do something, i'm usually pretty well spent after work.

Can't wait for the fall and returning to groovy uvm. Everybody better come check out the ball pit suite. Wright 2, front suite.

So yeah...... another long time interval in between entries. What can I say, I'm a busy man........ rioght........
Well this past week I actually have been pretty busy. I've either been spending time with JB, work on the fucking wireless motion sensor project, which the fucking thing does still not work, or doing physics practicum shit. The semester is almost over, which doesn't really have any positives. That means Exams, I'm really not looking forward to the Calc exam. We started reviewing, and I completely forgot that we learned this shit this semseter. Fuck You Trigonometric Integration. I'm not too worried about the physics final, Chu has been really lax the recently. He even said 'fuck' and 'asshole' in a lecture last week.
But even with all this shit looming over my head, this past week has been my happiest week in a long time. Like years long time. And if you don't know why I've been so happy... well then...... you must of been living under a rock, or something. It's so sad. I only have 10 more days to spend with JB before she has go back to Masshole land, and me to my farm. Hopefully I'll be able to visit her multiple times during the summer. Hopefully catch some Sox games with her.
I should be back on the farm at the latest on the 14th. My last exam, which is at the lasest possible time, my calc exam, is on friday at 4pm. I'll be lucky if I can get everything packed up that night to go home. I have so much fucking shit in my room, it's outrageous.
So here's another entry. Wahoo.

You know when you got out of your High School at just the right time when this happens:

Petition calls for review of principal and other administrators at Mount Abraham Union High School

By Molly Walsh
Free Press Staff Writer

BRISTOL -- Mount Abraham Union High School principal Paulette Bogan can take credit for big successes at the 960-student school wedged between Middlebury and Burlington.

In Bogan's three years at the seventh- to 12th-grade school, the drop-out rate has declined from 25 percent to 10 percent; SAT scores have increased; and the percentage of seniors moving on to junior or four-year colleges has jumped from 45 percent to 62 percent.

These good trends, however, aren't the whole story. Fights, thefts and litter are problems. Police pull up to the school almost daily, and last fall, students staged a sit-in after Bogan tried to reduce student loitering in the front lobby.

Now some parents are questioning Bogan's job performance and circulating a petition expressing no confidence in the entire school administration. The leaders of the petition drive -- members of a newly formed group called Parents Respond to Inadequate District Education, or PRIDE -- have a list of complaints.

They say police come to the school too often and students are being unfairly accused of drug- or alcohol-use. It sometimes takes months for failing students to be provided special education testing and services. The petitioners also say that when students land in trouble, administrators stereotype them.

"If you don't have straight A's and you're not on the sports team, they don't want you there," said Pam Jennings, a Bristol mother who is leading the petition drive.

Bogan's defenders say the petition paints an inaccurate picture of a woman who is succeeding in an extremely difficult job. "She works very hard, and I think she's a great leader," said Nancy Cornell, associate superintendent of the Addison Northeast Supervisory Union.

Bogan says she's eager to talk to any parent with a concern. She does not believe the petition drive reflects widespread dissatisfaction. "I think it's based on a few families' experiences with discipline, and I don't think it's broad-based at all," she said.
Unjust suspension?

Jennings, a homemaker whose 15-year-old son attends Mount Abe, says her son was unjustly suspended for alleged marijuana use this school year.

Students are being taken out of class and their backpacks and lockers are being searched without cause, she said. After talking with other unhappy parents, Jennings organized weekly meetings and the group took the name PRIDE.

About 15 members of PRIDE attended a Mount Abe School Board meeting last week to state their complaints. The board took no specific action. Jennings said about 250 people have signed the petition. PRIDE will pre- sent it to the Bristol Selectboard, Jennings said, and ask that Bogan and other administrators be re-evaluated and discipline policies reviewed.

The school's practice of rarely holding students back is an undercurrent of the debate. Jennings said that despite failing many classes, her son advanced from seventh to eighth to ninth grade and now has even bigger academic problems. "If they have all F's, they send them right into the next grade," she said.

Many of the parents involved in PRIDE have children who have been suspended or otherwise disciplined, Jennings acknowledged.

Karen Bennett of Starksboro -- another PRIDE member -- says administrators dole out uneven punishments. Her 16-year-old daughter, Michelle, was suspended this school year for fighting with another student. "Yeah. She beat him up. She punched him in the face a couple of times," Karen Bennett said.

Michelle Bennett admits to taking the first swing. "I'm not going to deny it," she said. "I'm not going to let someone call me a slut or a whore."

Mother and daughter agree that Michelle Bennett's suspension was warranted, but they say the name-caller was never disciplined.

Lingering unhappiness over that situation and a sense that snobbery exists at Mount Abe have left Michelle Bennett bitter about the school. "If you don't have money, then you're not in at all," she said.
Mistaken assumptions

Bogan declined to respond to any discipline or dispute involving a specific student, citing confidentiality laws. She was willing to discuss the broad issues raised by PRIDE.

Student disciplinary actions are private and families sometimes erroneously assume the other party in a dispute received no punishment, Bogan said. Families do sometimes wait months for special education testing, partly because of delays by outside testing organizations, she said.

The School Board is reviewing and updating school policies. The ultimate goal is to teach students to be good citizens, she said.

Most students and families are supportive of the school and are served well by it, Bogan said; a small but growing number need intensive services. "They just seem to be increasing. It's not going away," Bogan said.

Mount Abe serves students from Bristol, Lincoln, Starks- boro, Monkton and New Haven. School test scores and family income are roughly on par with state averages. Bogan came to the school after more than two decades as a teacher and school principal in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Although she's pleased with progress at Mount Abe -- a new addition is complete and graduation requirements have been increased -- Bogan says the school climate is not what she'd like it to be.

This year, there have been at least 19 fights, up from 10 last year. Disruptive behavior on school buses has also increased and so has class cutting -- with at least 557 class cuts this school year.

Many students cut class on a single day in October when students staged a mini-revolt to protest Bogan's order that they cease a longstanding Mount Abe tradition of sitting on benches in the front lobby during free time.

What students saw as innocent socializing was apparently seen by others as unseemly behavior. Bogan said taxpayers and visitors to the school complained about litter and rude behavior in the lobby.

Bogan wanted change. "I want it to be a clean, clear, welcoming place for people to come in and for us to show our best side," she said.
Free time

The lobby problems might have been exacerbated, Bogan allowed, by the fact that students have considerable free time on their hands. Even students taking what is considered a full load at the school often have 80 minutes of free time a day, and some students have 160 minutes.

After Bogan banned students from the lobby benches, they staged a sit-in and agreed to get up only after a convoy of police responded.

In the wake of the protest, Bogan and the student council came up with a compromise. Students would be allowed on the benches. Student clubs and sports teams would pick up litter and campaign to stop it.

That campaign has been only marginally successful.

On a recent day, the front of the hulking, late-1960s school was littered with empty chocolate milk cartons, used paper plates and napkins, a stray desk, pencil stubs, a rain of paper scraps, and assorted snack food wrappers.

Students are keeping the inside of the building cleaner, but the front lawn is often a mess, and student council members who were supposed to clean it have given up, said Ashlie Pouliot, a senior from Monkton who serves as student body president.

"We'd have to go out there and spend, like hours, picking up straws and gum and milk cartons," Pouliot said. Other students continued to dump half-eaten breakfast and other trash. "It's always disgusting," Pouliot said.

On the whole, she's happy with the school. There are some great teachers and lots of opportunity, and Pouliot said the school feels safe to her.

She was among the overwhelming majority of high school students who in a survey rejected Bogan's proposal to apply for a federal grant to fund a school police officer. The proposal was subsequently dropped.

If there are problems at the school, a petition drive is not the way to solve them, said Eugenie Doyle, a Monkton mother of three and longtime member of the Mount Abe PTO. Attendance at PTO meetings averages around five, and more parents should use the forum to improve the school, she said.

Doyle believes Bogan has hired talented teachers and brought some good things to the school, but the principal's reserved personality might be hurting her efforts to master what is undoubtedly a difficult job, she said.

"I think that it must require the skills of a diplomat, the skills of a coach, the skills of a police officer. But I think it basically has to be somebody who really, really loves kids and can communicate that to them and their families," Doyle said. "I think Paulette really loves kids, but I don't know if she's communicated that."

Back by popular demand..... [Apr. 6th, 2005|03:15 pm]
So yet again there has been a great absence of LJ entries, and management has heard complaints from the readers because of the lack of entries.
So here it is by popular demand:

It's such a nice day! such a shame I have classes to goto. But Chu is kicking a great about of ass lately. The 3 of 4 lectures he's let us out at least 20 min early. Last Friday we only had class for 2 min. Some how my entries always involve physics, I guess it really is taking over my life. But luckily there wasn't lab this week, so the only class I went to yesterday was recitation at 3:30.
Last night we had our 2nd Broomball game, and it kicked ass! We won 2-0. The other team wern't being good sports. I almost got sacked by one guys stick, when one guy fell down grabbed Jesse's ankle, and with 20 seconds left, and us up 1-0 one of their players just took off his helmet and through his stick to the ice. Then Paul scored with 5 seconds left, he was going crazy on them, and they wouldn't get enough people on the ice for the face off. As is it is seeming to become a tradition I got bloody again during the game. I was going for the ball along the boards running hard, and this girl checked me into the boards. Boy did she have some momentum (dammit! physics again!). Last game I was bleeding because I went to tickle the Holyokes and she jumped up and hit my helmet.

Well I should be getting to choir on this lovely day. I'll prob update again soon.

Back from Break [Mar. 27th, 2005|06:07 pm]
So I'm back up here at UVM, yup...
Spring Break was all that wild and crazy for me, unless you were my lungs. I was sick for almost all of it. On tuesday I basicly had no voice what so ever. So I spent most of my break lounging around the house getting lots of sleep, and not being productive.
So I'm back here, and I'm loving it. I think some of things that I miss most about this place besides the people are the showers (man are those things powerful, Timmah doesn't use the center one because he's afraid he'll lose too much skin), my stereo (it just wasn't the same listening to music at home with like no bass), and my bike.
So I had some time to burn after I unpacked, since like no one was here yet. So I looked online to see about classes for next fall, I AM GOING TO DIE! 18 fucking credits. I have math 161 (devolopment of mathematics), math 121 (calculus III), physics 42 (Electromagnitism, everyone failed the final last fall, even PAUL! OMG!), and M.E. 40 (thermodynamics) back to back to back to back mon wed fri. Then I get the pleasure of having C.E. 1 (Statics) at 8AM!!!! tuesday thursday. I AM GOING TO DIE! So if somehow I'm still alive at the end of December there should be like a parade, or something.......

Haven't written in here in more than a month....... [Mar. 5th, 2005|05:32 pm]
So yeah.... guess I haven't written in here in a while. Probally all of my stalkers are getting bored without anythign new to read about, so I'll do an entry.
I've been pretty busy lately with physics and my other classes, or trying to figure out what is wrong with me. Last weekend something was seriously fucked up with my head. I was considering going to a shrink because I couldn't figure out why I was getting so depressed, or pissed of at people so easily. But luckily now I'm doing alright.
If I die during this semister it is probally going to be physics related. THE CLASS IS 5 FUCKING CREDITS!!!!! The lecture, the recitation, and the lab. But lab is going pretty well now. Got the ghettoest table in our lab, and we've decided that Di Chen is the shit.
Calculus is being a semi-bitch. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to stand Lawlor, just look at this guy: http://www.cem.uvm.edu/~lawlor/jack.jpg What a fruit cake. James has alot 2 pages of his fucked up quotes, "Thats a DEAD DUCK substitution!", or the always timely "If I was a betting man, I'd say Self.....".
Recently me and Megan adopted Emma, and now she is an honorary Estey, you all wish you could be so privillaged. I mean, theres even a group on the facebook "The Estey's are the Shit'.
So me and Paul got really bored last night, more of I got really bored and got him to help in entertainment. So we went outside and through snowballs at people's windows. I t was a bit difficult because the snow wasn't packy snow, and all of our targets were on the 4th floor. Then after that we a giant message in the snow on the green. http://www.uvm.edu/~aestey/Rock,%20Rock%20On!.jpg Rita couldn't figure out how we did it with no foot steps leading off. Then we went back up stairs and chilled for a while, tried to figure out who was more violent when they are tickled, Holyokes or Mayora. We never really were able to figure out. After that Jordan got a call that there was a party down on Hitcock (where he's gonna live next year), so we decided to go. And so that we wouldn't have to walk there and back, we got Crazy Legs to DD for us. Marissa and her friends wanted to come too, but since we couldn't all fit in Jordan's car they decided they'd walk down. Crazy Legs was bit a rusty with driving the stick, a minute in you could smell the burning of the clutch. We got there fine, but there was a Cop talking to the people across the street, which was kinda sketchy. So went and said hi to RJ and Libby, ditched our coats in his room. So then we went down stairs, and right after I bought my cup I get a call from Marissa "Estey, there's a cop right outside, we're coming in, we're just gonna walk back." And right after that the cop shows up at the back door, and we all shut up. Me, Nick, and Jordan went and hung out in RJ's room with the other keg, and waited for the cops to go away so that we could leave. We were in there for about 10 min, and then we left. The house got a $1200 fine, so bascily Jordan isn't going to be able to have any big parties there next year. So my luck with Alchohol hasn't been to good recently, cause thursday night I almost got busted cause Jordan left his Gin and Vermouth on my bed, and Anthony forgot to close the door on his way in, and the RA's saw it on they're rounds. Luckily I was able to find Derek (since he's 21) and we didn't get written up. The strange thing was that they didnt even card him.
I don't have a clue what I'm doing tonight, hopefully something fun, we'll see.

If you're bored you should check out the pictures from Jordan's B-day, it was a blast. http://www.uvm.edu/%7Eaestey/Jordan%27s%20B-day/index.html

Supise! [Jan. 26th, 2005|01:33 pm]
[Current Mood | happy]

So life is looking good, Hooray!
So yesterday I had my physics lab, and for the entire two hours of it, I don't think i could understand a single word my TA said. Di Chen needs to work on his english skills. The physics dept. at UVM is the least diverse dept ever, not to be racist, but they're almost all asian. After that I went to lunch and for some reason Nicole and Laura had issues on how i held and used my fork, wtf? Then i had physics recitation which was started out with Professer Chu bitching about how Web CT is fucked up, and we shouldn't put his head on a stick because of it. I rode my bike to recitation, it was good to break the ol' girl back out. It was a good work out since i haven't riden in like a month in a half. I need to get like snow tires or something because when ever i hit the smallest amount of powder it would squirel out. I almost killed my self riding back up the hill to redstone.
So after that rushed to go get dinner before auditions, then came back to CWP to sign up for a slot and get warmed up. Since that got done at 7 and my audition was at 9 i just went back up to the 4th floor and chilled until it was time. Greg told us to get there 15 min early in case they were running ahead of schedule, well lucky me they were running 30 min behind schedule, and i sat in the lobby for 45 min. I sandy 'Little Red Riding Hood' for them, prob no one outside of a capella would know the song, it's a bass song. Then they had me do diff to show my range, which i was able to get down to a B flat, but my upper range wasn't doing quite as well, and my falsetto was barely working. Then I had to do pitch matching, which didn't go too well either. Then I sang with in a quartet with them, that went pretty well. Then I told them my Joke:
So there are four guys, the Boss, an American, a Mexican, and a Chinese Man. (Stets and Moss were already cracking up by this point in telling the joke) And the four them are going to build a Base, so the Boss says to the Mexican, "I want you to build the fences, I want them to be the best fences ever, alright?" Then the boss tells the American "I want you to build the walls, I want them to be best walls ever, I don't want anything getting through them." And then he tells the Chinese man "I want you to take care of the supplies for the base, ok?" And then he said to all of them "When I come back in three days I want all of this to be take care of, alright?"
So when he came back in three days he saw that the Mexican had done a really nice job on the fences, barb-wire and everything, so he said "good job mexican". So then he walks into the base and doesn't see in the supplies, so he says "Where are all the supplies?" All of a sudden the chinese man jumps out and says "SUPISE!"
Jacob thought the joke was a little too off color........
So i was done after that and went and chilled in paul and jesse's room while nicole talked to some sketchy hick stalker from her hometown on IM. He might possibly be the dumbest person ever........ Then finally i got a call from Greg at a little after midnight saying that I should that they want me to come to call backs. OH YEAH!!!!! So tonight and tomorrow night i'm supposed to do stuff, sing another song, and have another joke. I think I'm gonna do 'Can't help falling in love' by Elvis for my song.
And today guess who is coming?????? EMILY QUINN AND JESS DUNLOP!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!
So I'm in a good mood. Yeah..... Thats about it.

Back in Black [Jan. 17th, 2005|01:03 pm]
And so I'm back up at Groovy Uvy. OH YEAH!
So I moved back in yesterday round 5ish to find I actually have a new Roommate. His name is Anthny, and he had an asshole roommate last semister too, so it's good to have someone to relate too. Luckily for us Jon did not move any of his stuff out of the room, so we had to take everything of his, and put it out in the hall. While cleaning out his desk I found 2 of my ps2 games, isn't that nice?
And so after I unpacked everything, which was alot of stuff, I went and socialized around the floor, went and saw Meaghan and Allison's new room which is looking pretty good. Then Jacob got back (HOORAY!!!). Oh how i've missed my Jacob, it's good to have his craziness back in my life. Then Emma came back, and everyone else started to trickle in.
Last Night Andrea round 10ish decided that she wanted to have ppl over, so I rounded up a gang and headed over. It was the usual Andrea's, lots of booze, beirut, and me getting very drunk. Paul showed up later on and it was good to see my fellow cheat comando.
Then luckily the walk back to wright was uneventful in my very intoxicated state.
This morning I woke up nice and late, went and used the high pressure shower that i missed so much, got yelled at by Jacob for being too slow, then went over to Simpson with Jacob and Anthony. It was good to eat at Simpson again.
After I got back Emma was really really bored so we watched Super Troopers together.
Don't know what I'm gonna do for the rest of the day, prob just lounge around and do nothing.
This semister is looking to be pretty good, Mon Wed Fri i don't start until 11:15, and Tues Thur i start at 9:30, and every day i get done by 4:30. So many a thirsty thursday shall happen.

New Years??? [Jan. 4th, 2005|11:36 pm]
[Current Music |Jay-Z - Linkin Park]

It's Tuesday, oh yeah, tuesday. Guess since I haven't done an entry since New Years I should talk about the fun time that was had.
So me and stets went to Mike Philup's apartment in B-town. Before went there we burned some time since we were gonna meet my sis and mike at Al's at 7.
So we went to Best Buy, stalked Mike at work for a bit, I picked up the Linkin Park Jay-Z album, which anyone who likes music should get. Mike Shinoda is a crazy good producer and all the tracks kick so much ass.
So after Best Buy we went and burned time at the U-mall, spent alot of time in spencers looking at alcohol related items. Then we went to the downtown mall and burned somemore time there. Me and stets picked up a pair of shooters for $2, with a deal like that how can you resist, i mean, really now?
So then to burn more time until we had to get to Al's, we decided to take the route of going to Al's Via the North End, yeah, see our ghetto heritage. On the drive Mike called, and guess what? Al's is closed, so we rushed to Burger King to just get in there before they close, and boy were they ever being Nazi's about it. I picked up a Super Size coke to prevent the Hang Over, and it worked.
And so then we meet my sis who was lurking out in the parking and we headed over to Mikes. When we got there it was just Mike, his roommate Geoff, and his girl friend Carol, all three of them are quite cool people. So to start off the night we played some Beirut, me and mike lost the first game to Stets and Megan, but then we beat them the second game, Luckly for Mike I was on that night, unlike a certain nigth at Jay's where I didn't hit a single cup, and stets hit 8.
Then Mike's friends Gavin and John from his hometown showed him. Ocording to Mike the party had "now begun". Then for the first time ever there was Team Estey Beirut, we took on Mike and Gavin, the game didn't go that well, this pic gives a good idea of the game http://community.webshots.com/photo/241754609/241771197MdGBep .
So after that we went down to Meg's (my sister's) friend from the Meow Kyla's, who is going out with Meaghan's (who lives on my floor) brother, small world eh? Megan wasn't too good with hiding the drunkness.
Example:
Me: "Man, alot of cops out tonight."
Megan: "What are you talking about???? I don't see any!" (As she frolicks down Colchester Ave. passing a cop undercover next to a bus stop)
Kyla fixed us up some nice Dr. Pepper and Rum's, we chilled there for a bit, Megan rapped and showed how ghetto the Estey's are. Then we did the drunk run back because Megan got a call that Becca (and her friends :) ......) had arived.
Once we came in the door Meg and Becca were all over each other, and then stets tackled Becca. After that the Jose' Cuervo was broken out, the new shot glasses really came in handy. So we drank, i got to know Becca's friends a little better. Meanwhile Stets took many many many shots of Senior Cuervo, and got very very very drunk, and started the usually drunk stets routine, trying to make out with any and every girl at the party. But no one was really to receptive to the "blatant molestation" as Gavin put it. So Stets got his ass chewed out by Mike, and then beat up by Carol and Amanda (luckily she still had energy for later). When Mike was trying to talk to him stets was just like "But all the girls, look at them, i want to kiss her." Luckly we were able to cut him off, and sit him down.
Then the ball drop came, and some of us said our new years resolutions, then we drank up the champange. The rest of the night was pretty chill, we hung out and drank (except for stets). Then came time sleep, stets fullfilled his goal of blacking out so he wouldn't have to find a place to sleep, so nicely we took the extra cusions off the futon and made a bed for him, and me and amanda were stuck with the floor.
If you wanna know what happened talk to me.
I couldn't get any fucking sleep that night from the combination of Amanda kept on rolling over, all the caffiene from that supersize coke at B.K., no neck support cause she stole almost all the pillow, and being on the damn floor, my side hurt for 2 days after.
All the girls bolted early because they had to "get home to shovel their roads". So the rest of us were awake and disgruntaled. Mike and Gavin gave me some good advice "Girls like it if you tell them they have a confortable vagina". AFter that me and stets went to Hannafords to get some stuff for breakfast, he was still drunk. Geoff cooked the food, he is a really good cook. And since we were low on cups i drank my orange juice out of the shooters, classy isn't it.
And that pretty much wraps up the happenings of New Years.

Clean room, WHAT? [Dec. 28th, 2004|08:55 pm]
So yeah, I haven't written in here for a week, so i guess I should.

So today I did the unthinkable, I CLEAN MY ROOM! Yeah, it's shocking. I filled up 5 trash bags with useless crap that had been piling up. I even found stuff from junior high. And so with all the new extra space the the useless crap used to have i moved the desk from downstairs into my room, and and then my stereo. So now i have 4 speakers around me. :-) Already i've gotten noise complaints from the neighbors, a.k.a my sister, I conveniently setup my stereo right on the wall that's between her room and mine.

Yesterday was Chapin family christmas down in Natick, which was the biggest waste of time ever. We actually only spent like 2 hours together, but we had to drive down the night before for some reason, and nicely a big snow storm came, and we were doing 10 mph down I-95. All i got down there was a little electronic pinball game, wahoo. After getting back i headed over to the Fitz-Geralds for a Mt. Abe '04 reunion party. Yeah, it's like the 6 month reunion, crazy. It was good to see everyone. Attempted to plan for New Years, but didn't really make any ground.

Tomorrow hopefully I'll get up to b-town to do some post x-mas/Kwanzaa shopping. Yeah, it's the 3rd day of Kwanzaa right now. Hopefully pick up the Linking Park Jay-Z album, and get some paintballs for my new paintball gun.

Live Journal...... Whoa [Dec. 21st, 2004|06:31 pm]
[Current Music |DJ Tiesto]

And so the day has finally come when Zestey has a Live Journal, how bout that! So I guess this is where I get to give explicit details about what i'm doing with my life, another helpful tool for all those people that are out there stalking me.
So today Me and Stets were planning to go into mt. abe and visit, but just my luck, they have a snow day, so i woke up at 9:30 for nothing. I ended up going back to bed and sleeping until 2, yeah thats right, 2. When I finally got my ass out of bed i got showered, and washed my hair for the last time before it got cut, i miss that hair. So then i went up to burlington and went shopping, and got my hair cut. I think it was possibily the worst haircut ever. So if you see me in the next month i'm prob going to have my trusty ol' red sox hat on to cover up my hair.
So i don't know what i'm going to do with the rest of my day, prob just waste away here in the house for lack of anything else to do.
